If you have super fine straight hair you may find it difficult to curl it. This hair type in general is hard to keep it curled. But, there is a solution. All you need is your favorite mouse, hair spray, and comb!
Here are tips on how to curl super fine straight hair.
The process starts with clean towel dried hair and keep your hair damp.
Apply a cup full of light to medium mousse like John Frieda Luxurious Volume Building Mousse and generously and spread it well from the roots to the tip of your hair. Use a wide toothed hair comb and comb through your hair spreading the mousse through out the hair.
For extra volume add a thickening spray while your locks are still damp on top of the mousse. Make sure you apply it evenly all throughout your hair. In case you prefer to use a root lifter, apply it only on the roots.
Then blow-dry your hair and instead of using a hair brush which would straighten out your hair, use your fingers. If you opt to use a brush, keep your strokes minimal.
By now you will see the volume and thickness in your hair. Once your hair is dry, you are ready to start curling your hair. Take small sections of your hair and use hair styling spray to curl it with rollers and secure at the top of your head. Once you finish, blow dry your hair one last time. Add one more application of hair spray and then you are ready to see home much volume you have now. Work your fingers through your hair and style it. You may want to use hairspray one more time before you are headed out the door.
