Mother Nature knows what she is doing. Time and time again, women spend their time and money on laboratory-created shampoos with disastrous results. Often, all that’s need is a return to what our mothers and grandmothers used for their hair.
Black women have been using apple cider vinegar (ACV) on their hair for years. Shampoos and soaps are often too drying for thick and curly hair, causing damage, and breakage. ACV cleans hair without stripping it of the natural oils that keep hair from frizzing.
There are various ways to use ACV. Some women even swear you can completely eliminate shampoo by simply using ACV in its place. Usually a paste of baking soda and water is applied to the scalp then rinsed with a combination of one cup water and two cups ACV. Massage the mixture then rinse hair with cool water.
If all this seems too messy or if you find the smell of vinegar too unpleasant, try the Live Clean Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo as a replacement.
