The wefts have been pre-cut of 10–30 inch pieces and have been sewn by hand or machine to make the smallest wafting possible for a virtually undetectable look for hair. It is strands of hair that have been sewn along one edge to create a line of hair.
The hand tied weft hair is much smaller and thinner weft than regular machine weft hair, these weft are hand made so that the hair is more secure and allows longer wear per track than the regular machine wefts. The most-used material is 100% a grade Remy hair (one can also make it with his/her requirement type of hair) which is only healthy and youthful hair. The manufacturer goes through extensive control methods to ensure exceptional quality. Each strand is hand picked strand by strand to ensure the cuticle layers are aligned in the same directions so no tangling occurs.
To give someone a certain features hand tied hair wefts are manufactured with such craftsmanship of good hair binding that one can comb or wash it easily. Though the weft is flexible and easy to weave there is almost zero loss of hair on cutting the extension with scissors into any preferred size.
Hand-tied wefts are thinner and more flexible than machine-tied wefts. The weft is flatter and allows the hair to lay closer to the head giving a more natural look. As the hair underneath the flexibility of hand-tied wefts helps to keep the weft from sticking out from the undergrowth. Typical hand-tied wefts come in pieces about 28 inches in width. When sewn in, they can be folded over to best fit the track. The weft is flexible so it will not stick out or cause lumpy areas around the crown. Micro hand-tied wefts are another option found mainly in Asian hair. These wefts come in 8 to 24 inch pieces with wefts sewn closer together.
It dramatically reduces shedding. The hair is more secure and allows longer wear per track than the regular machine wefts. It dramatically reduces shedding, provide a lot of body. If any one wants to use hair weft without being cut he/she should choose approximately 10″ wide. It is advisable to use the whole piece without cutting. If the weft is too long for the track, then fold over at the end and continue to finish the piece. High quality hand-tied wefts tend to last longer without shedding when they are put in by an experienced technician.
